I have been fascinated with photography since childhood and bought my
first camera - a Minolta K1000 - when I was a teenager. While studying photography in high school, I spent a lot of my time in
the darkroom mesmerized by the images that would appear before my eyes
like magic. I was hooked!
My first photography job began in Whistler, BC with Coast Mountain Photography. My success rate was exceptional with photos of skiing, white-water rafting, kayaking, rock-climbing and mountain biking.
I have traveled throughout the world capturing images from all cultures and walks of life - Mexico, Spain, Morocco, Thailand, Malaysia and Australia.
Moving to Vancouver to study at Emily Carr University last year earned me an opportunity to further my photography career in digital photography as well as learning the techniques of photoshop.
In addition to my artistic side I work as a cat ski photographer in the winter and also volunteer my time with the Fernie Search and Rescue team where the rewards and challenges are endless.
I presently reside in Fernie, B.C. - a photographer's dream!
